Neil Miranda is a Registered Psychologist who is passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults and families achieve meaningful and lasting change. He adopts a warm, collaborative and evidence-based approach, working closely with clients to understand their unique strengths, challenges and goals.
Neil has experience supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioural challenges and adjustment issues. He also works with children and adolescents with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions, providing assessment, intervention and parent support to help build communication, social, emotional and daily living skills.
Drawing on evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and behavioural interventions, Neil tailors treatment to the individual needs of each client. He believes that successful therapy is built on a strong therapeutic relationship, where clients feel heard, supported and empowered throughout their journey.
Neil is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where people from all cultural and linguistic backgrounds feel respected and understood. He works collaboratively with families, schools, healthcare professionals and other support networks to ensure interventions are practical, holistic and focused on improving quality of life.
Neil provides psychological support for children, adolescents and adults across a broad range of presentations and is dedicated to helping clients develop the skills and confidence needed to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
