Tariro is a registered psychologist who is passionate about empowering her clients to identify their strengths and using these alongside their special interests to inform her therapy practice.
She has experience working in schools across different age groups. Her background as a provisional psychologist who has worked with children of different backgrounds, abilities and ages has given her an appreciation for a multi-disciplinary approach to therapy in order to provide relevant support. Ashley combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with elements of other psychological disciplines such as imaginative play and art for younger clients.
AT Change for Life, Ashley has been working with children, teens and adults. She uses a collaborative approach that allows clients to solve problems, build skills and develop strategies that they can take into their everyday lives. Ashley recognizes the importance of being an advocate for clients and their families and ensures that clients are supported in communicating their needs and accessing relevant support within their schools or through other allied health providers.
