Liza is a Remedial Massage Therapist, Registered Midwife, Co-Owner and Practice Manager of Change for Life. She has a Certificate IV in Remedial Massage gained at Nature Care College, and has a Masters in Nursing from Sydney University. Liza has worked as a midwife for over 15 years and still teaches Childbirth Education at Westmead Private Hospital. She is also currently studying Naturopathy.

Liza has had a lot of success working on people with specific back, neck and shoulder problems. The massage treatment also involves massaging the legs as many people hold tension there without even realising it. Remedial massage is quite a deep massage and helps to relieve tight muscles especially in the legs, lower back, upper back, neck and shoulders. Benefits of massage include relaxation, relieving pain and headaches due to tight muscles, lengthening muscles that are tight or contracted to gain better range of movement and overall improving your general wellbeing. Clients are amazed how good they feel after the massage and are devoted supporters of regular massage.

Liza also performs Pregnancy Massage. The massage is very safe for pregnant women and full screening of any concerns is performed prior to the massage. We have a special table with removable sections so that pregnant women can safely lie on their stomach while the baby is cradled in a padded sling. This is 1 to 1 and a half hours of sheer bliss for pregnant women. It helps with sore backs, necks and shoulders as well as reducing swelling in hands, and feet. Liza is also very happy to answer any specific midwifery or Childbirth questions that you have.
